The building of Ministry of Finance was built at the beginning of 20th century in neogothic style by the plans of Sándor Fellner. It was rebuilt after World War II. Its upper floor with the small towers was destroyed and it was converted to a student hostel. Now it houses the offices of KÖH (office of Hungarian Cultural Heritage).
